One of my favorite places in SF to just soak it all in. One of my favorite places in SF to just soak it all in.

Late Afternoon at Alamo Square
I was reminded today of how simplistically serene and unrecognizebly perfect San Francisco can be. I find beauty in imperfections and inconsistencies of life and I think among other cities, San Francisco has a sensible amount of quirkiness and reallness that you can’t find anywhere else. It’s got its flaws, of course, but with all the richness and diversity in the streets, it’s nice to be able to stand atop a hill of plush green and just embrace the view for all that it is. Incredible - I can’t believe how much I’ve fallen for it.  Late Afternoon at Alamo Square

Food, Glorious Food! - This past weekend, my sister Vivianne came to visit  San Francisco and gave me the challenge to take her to the best of the best that this city had to offer. To sum up the food scene here in SF would be no short of an impossible feat. It’s so eclectic, diverse and constantly changing - never failing to dissapoint. This week, I wanted to showcase the best of SF as I saw it - some my sister and I had a chance to try and some I pulled back from meals past. Nevertheless, these are some of my must-tries whenever visiting the city! Enjoy—
In order:
1) French Toast Tahiti and La Mer Benedict from Zazie
2) Menage a Trois from Ike’s
3) Linguini Clams from Pier 23 Cafe
4) TCHO Chocolate Ice Cream + Cone from Smitten Ice Cream
5) Los Favoritos Platter from Tropisueno
6) Tonkatsu Ramen from Yamadaya Ramen
7) Cannoli from Stella Pastry Cafe
8) Pork Belly from Mission Chinese
9) Bun Tom Thit Nuong from Golden Lotus Vietnamese
10) Rotisserie Chicken and Seafood Paella from Limon
